Frequently Asked Questions
Do your marine doors come as a complete set with the frame and hardware?
Yes, absolutely. All our doors, including B-15 cabin doors and A-60 fire doors, are delivered as complete, pre-hung units. This means the door leaf is already fitted into its frame, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the on-site installation process. We also offer a full range of marine-grade hardware, including locks, handles, closers, and panic bars, which can be pre-installed or supplied as part of the package.
What certifications and class approvals do your doors and windows have?
All of our marine doors and windows are manufactured to meet the strictest international standards. They are fully certified according to the IMO FTP Code for fire safety. We can provide products with type approvals from all major classification societies, including DNV, ABS, CCS, and Lloyd’s Register, depending on your specific project requirements. The official certificates will be provided with the product delivery.
Can the door finish be customized to match our interior wall panels?
Yes, we specialize in providing a cohesive interior package. The surface finish of our cabin and fire doors can be customized with a wide range of PVC, HPL (High-Pressure Laminate), or painted steel finishes to perfectly match the design and color of your chosen wall panel system. This ensures a consistent and high-quality aesthetic throughout your accommodation areas.
Are your door frames compatible with standard marine panel systems?
Our door frames are specifically designed for seamless integration with all standard marine sandwich panel systems. The frame design allows for a clean, simple installation with both mineral wool and honeycomb core panels. We provide detailed installation drawings showing the correct interface between the door frame and the bulkhead panels to ensure structural integrity and proper fire/acoustic sealing.
Do you provide installation services for your doors and windows?
We do not offer direct installation services, as our core business model is to be your “Smart Interior Supply Partner.” Our model is to supply the complete, certified door units and provide all necessary technical drawings and documentation. This allows you to use your own trusted, local workforce for the installation, which is a major source of cost savings. However, we do offer the option of on-site technical guidance, where our experienced engineer can supervise and guide your team to ensure the installation is done efficiently and correctly.
