JULY Marine attended SMM Hamburg 2026 from 1–4 September at Hall B4.OG, Stand 233-6. This short video shares highlights from our presence at the exhibition and introduces the international project-support model behind our marine interior work.
For many shipbuilding and retrofit projects, purchasing the correct materials is only one part of the task. Shipyards and contractors also need clear technical coordination, practical installation planning and responsive support when questions arise on site. JULY Marine Group connects marine interior supply with installation support so that customers can select the level of assistance appropriate for their project.
Marine Interior Supply with Installation Support
Our model can combine interior materials, design coordination, technical documentation and installation support. Depending on the project location, schedule and scope, this may include remote installation guidance, on-site supervision or coordination with a local installation team.
The service is intended for marine accommodation and interior scopes such as wall and ceiling systems, fire-rated doors, insulation, flooring, wet units and related finishing work. Customers can engage us for a defined installation package or discuss support alongside a wider material-supply requirement.

Vietnam-Based Support for International Projects
Our Vietnam-based team provides a practical base for projects across Southeast Asia. The wider coordination model can also support shipyards and contractors working in the Middle East and other international markets, subject to the requirements and feasibility of each project.
We do not assume that every project needs the same solution. A project with an experienced local team may only require drawings, installation details and scheduled remote reviews. A more complex scope may benefit from on-site supervision during key stages. The support plan should therefore be defined after reviewing the vessel, location, work package, schedule and capabilities already available at the yard.
Three Levels of Installation Assistance
1. Remote Installation Guidance
Remote guidance can support customers that already have an installation workforce but need product-specific explanations or help coordinating the work sequence. Typical support may include document review, online meetings, clarification of installation details and discussion of issues reported by the site team.
To make remote guidance effective, the customer should provide updated drawings, photographs, measurements and clearly marked questions. A stable communication contact on site also helps decisions and follow-up actions remain traceable.
2. On-Site Supervision
Where appropriate and agreed for the project, supervision can help the local team understand drawings, interfaces, product handling and installation sequence. The exact duration and responsibility must be defined in the quotation so that the roles of JULY Marine, the shipyard and other contractors are clear.
3. Coordinated Installation Package
For suitable projects, material delivery and installation support can be planned together. This can improve communication between procurement and site execution, particularly where panels, doors, insulation, ceilings, floors and wet-area components must be installed in a controlled sequence.
Information Needed for an Installation Enquiry
- Vessel type and newbuild or retrofit status
- Shipyard and project location
- General arrangement and relevant interior drawings
- Detailed work scope and material responsibility
- Required standards, specifications and inspection points
- Planned start date, duration and working schedule
- Available local workforce, tools, access and site facilities
- Preferred support: remote guidance, supervision or coordinated installation
This information allows us to assess whether the proposed support method is realistic. If the scope is still developing, customers can send the available documents first and identify the parts that require clarification.
Why Early Installation Planning Matters
Marine interior work involves many interfaces. Door openings must suit surrounding partitions; ceilings must coordinate with services and access panels; flooring depends on deck condition and finished levels; wet areas require attention to drainage and adjoining surfaces. Reviewing these interfaces before mobilisation can reduce rework and last-minute changes.
Early planning also helps define packing, delivery sequence and storage requirements. Materials arriving in an order aligned with the installation plan are easier for the site team to identify and manage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you provide installation support outside Vietnam?
International enquiries are reviewed according to location, schedule, scope and required level of support. Our target coverage includes Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other international markets where the project arrangement is feasible.
Do we need to purchase all materials from JULY Marine?
The appropriate commercial and technical model depends on the project. Send the proposed material and installation split so we can review the interfaces and define a clear responsibility matrix.
Can installation guidance be delivered remotely?
Yes, remote guidance can be considered when the customer has a capable local team and can provide drawings, measurements, photographs and regular site feedback. Some scopes may still require on-site support, which will be discussed during review.
How do we obtain a proposal?
Share the vessel type, project location, interior scope, drawings, schedule and preferred support model. We will review the information and identify any points requiring clarification before preparing a proposal.
Discuss Your Marine Interior Project
Whether you require a coordinated supply package, remote installation guidance or on-site support, the first step is a clear review of the project. Visit our marine interior products overview or send the project documents directly through the contact page.
